Really looking forward to reading this. I'm working on research for my dissertation right now, which deals with the beginning of the home missions movement in the early republic. I'll certainly be dealing with some of the Christian nation issues, and I'll just as certainly want to read what you have to say.

Thanks for the comment, Brian! And good luck with the dissertation.
I can`t wait also to read it dr fea. It sounds like a great book in the works.
This sounds like an interesting book, and a good intro to the subject. I'd be interested in reading the part about Franklin. It's intriguing that you listed it as morality rather than religion.
