Bertram Wyatt-Brown R.I.P.

Historians on Twitter are reporting that Bertram Wyatt-Brown, the great scholar of Southern honor culture, has passed away.  For all of my central Pennsylvania readers, he was born in Harrisburg, PA in 1932.

Wyatt-Brown is best known for his book Southern Honor: Ethics and Behavior in the Old South, which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in history.
