Fryday 22nd Decem: at the Desire of the People here I preached a Sermon at Mr. Dunap's near the Mountain. But few were present. The Day cloudy windy, & very cold. I preached without Notes; found no Difficulty; and I hope preached with some Effect.
The People here seem serious; many are I think affected with a Sense of Sin; O that I may be some Way useful to my Fellow-Men.
