Philip Fithian, or William Byrd II from future history research.
JF: I agree. There really is nothing new left to say about Fithian :-)
TS: Actually, you'd get a grandfather clause, John.

I would also propose that Congress place a ten year ban on the use of Mary Chesnut and James Henry Hammond for antebellum southern history interpretation.
