The Way of Improvement Leads Home will be in New Orleans this weekend for the 127th Annual Meeting of the American Historical Society.
If all goes well with my flight, coverage will begin tomorrow night with William Cronon's session, The Public Practice of History in and for a Digital Age. I will probably be tweeting a few sessions (follow me @johnfea1or catch my tweets #aha2013) and writing regular summaries here at the blog. Donations are now being taken to help defray costs of hotel room internet connection (just kidding... I think).
I am also excited to be working with two correspondents this year. Erin Bartram, a graduate student at the University of Connecticut, and Mary Sanders, a graduate student at Oklahoma State University, will be offering their perspectives on this year's AHA.
There is still time if you would like to join our AHA team in New Orleans. Shoot me an e-mail and let me know if you are interested in contributing in some fashion.
