My dad became a Schwenkfelder deacon, recruited by a nice preacher in inner-city Philadelphia. On the basketball courts, iirc.

I'll set you up with an oral history interview if you'd like, John, next time you're near Bensalem.

I think Dad's still a Schwenkfelder, all in all. Non-creedal Christianity. He married a Catholic gal and the deal was that the kids would be raised Catholic, and they were.
